13th London Spanish Film Festival
21 Sep - 24 Sep|
For one more year, the London Spanish Film Festival arrives to our cinema screens with a delightful selection of some of the most recent Spanish films from this year and also from the past one. The event will take place from 21 to 24 September at the Lumière Cinema and Regent Street Cinema.
This time the Festival brings a range of different films which address various topics, presenting genres from comedy (Selfie, A Thousand Things I’d Do For You, The Exchange…), to thrillers (Mist and the Maiden, Sister of Mine, The Next Skin…), without forgetting other genres like drama (Maria (and the Others)…) war inspired stories (Gernika) or the very specific genre of the renowned director Álex de la Iglesia (The Bar), not to mention the dramatic comedy The Queen of Spain.
With some acclaimed directors like Álex de la Iglesia or Fernando Trueba and some celebrated actors such as Penélope Cruz, Javier Cámara, Quim Gutiérrez, Pepón Nieto, Rossy de Palma or Terele Pávez, amongst others, this 13th edition of the London Spanish Film Festival is the date not to miss for all the seventh art lovers.
