New Spanish, Latin American, and British authors present their first narrative experiences in a unique sampling of cross-cultural integration. Cuentos cuánticos y otros microrrelatos. Curated by Tyler Fisher
Sometimes, the shortest stories can stimulate the most enduring reflections. The anthology Cuentos cuánticos y otros microrrelatos (2018) brings together fifty very short stories. It constitutes the creative effort of a group of students who are mastering Spanish as a second language. Writing in the heart of London, the authors look towards the literary traditions of the Hispanic world. Their book comprises a wonderful variety of memorable characters and narratives, ranging from a very philosophical dog to an imperial cat, from a mysterious painting by Vermeer to a lost page from Plato.
Participants: Tyler Fisher, Alice Franklin, Hannah Frost, Catherine George, Jeff Gu, H.M. Harrington, Karina Lickorish Quinn, Nadia McLeod, Sam Stevenson, Karolina Szpejnowska and Grace Miranda Howes.
