Artemis: A Video Collection Of Poems And Interviews

1 Mar 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Instituto Cervantes, Manchester

The Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, alongside the University of Leeds and the Cervantes Institute in Manchester, will present the 2018 edition of the project ÁRTEMIS in UK. Around 80 Spanish poets have taken part in this experience, which aims to highlight their image as social educators. The date will put a special emphasis on presenting a part of the collection of videos and digital content, including readings and interviews.

The event will be presented by Antonio Martinez-Arboleda, Principal Teaching Fellow in Spanish at Leeds University and director of “LAS FLECHAS DE ÁRTEMIS”; and the poet Montse Cano, participant of this project.

Montserrat Cano, interviewed by Antonio Martínez Arboleda, will present a journey through his poetic work, accompanied by images related to the fundamental topics of her books: the journey, the woman and her thought.

At the same time, it will also use as a short introduction to the magazine ‘Crátera’, a linked publication.
