This month Cinemaattic dedicates its programme to some of the more relevant films produced in Galicia in the last year. In collaboration with Curtocircuito International Film Festival, they have curated a film selection ranging from documentary to avant-garde including the Goya winner 2017 to Best Animated Short film.
Cinemaattic presents six shorts films to showcase the quality and variety of the films coming up from Galicia-based, the most of them, in the idea of home and its meaning. Galician filmmakers focus on those elements that make you feel secure and belonging to a place and its culture.
Novo Cinema Galego is a group of filmmakers who understand better than the rest that association is key today in the film industry. Helping each other, networking, participating in others’ productions become essential to engage with audiences and gain international relevance.
Galician films are finding their recognition in Edinburgh this year!
