SRUK invites you to the IV Christmas seminar that will take place on the 25th of November at the Cervantes Institute in Manchester. This Seminar will be focused on how to communicate science to the public using audio-visual media.

Documentaries and online videos are key learning resources available to the public in today society; however, academics and scientists do not always make the best use of them to communicate science to a lay audience.

Luis Quevedo, a documentarist and expert science communicator will lead a workshop for SRUK members focused on how to speak to the public and use audio-visual media. To book a place for the workshop please email northwest@sruk.org.uk

At 3pm Luis Quevedo’s last documentary “In search of a lost future” will be screened followed by a round table to discuss about anthropology and audio-visuals in science communication. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
