Juan Delgado: The Flickering Darkness

The Flickering Darkness and Terminal Sur is a new installation from video artist Juan delGado.

The three-channel installation The Flickering Darkness serves both to show fragmentation and connection, silence and sound, movement & stillness. Juan delGado accessed Bogotá as a foreigner; he embarked on a journey to explore the city as a living organism that eats, sleeps and has physical needs.

Global Granados Marathon

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Spanish composer Enrique Granados, Guildhall pianists join with colleagues from around the world to play Granados's complete works for piano in one day. Guildhall's contribution is a complete performance of Granados's transcriptions of 26 sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, introduced by Professor Sir Barry Ife.
