This exhibition examines the work and legacy of influential Spanish couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga, with over 100 pieces crafted by ‘the master’ of couture, his protégées and contemporary fashion designers working in the same innovative tradition

‘Or la cendre’, is a site specific installation by Javier Pividal for the SCAN Project Room. Referencing Derrida’s title ‘Feu la Cendre’, this project gathers and expands some lines of research recurrent in Javier Pividal’s work through pieces that oscillate between body and word.
