Café Quijano at The Dome in London
31 Jan 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm|
Café Quijano is a band composed of Manuel, Óscar, and Raúl Quijano, three brothers from León, who have been in this musical project for more than 10 years and have achieved a very characteristic sound by fusing bolero with pop rock.
They began their musical career in León, in the pub “La Lola”, managed with their father, and the protagonist of one of their most popular songs. They were positioned on the Spanish scene with their third album La Taberna del Buda (2001), which includes the successful songs ‘Nada de na’ or ‘Taberna del buda’.
After a break in which they faced new challenges alone, in 2012 they returned together to the Spanish music scene with their trilogy ‘Orígenes’, released in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In this album, they recovered their musical roots, the music they heard at home when they were child: Cuban music and bolero.
‘La vida no es la la la’ is their tenth album in which Café Quijano reinvents itself and takes up with pop music. London is the first international stop of the tour.
