Spanish custume designer Paco Delgado will join Fashion & Cinema’s Joana Granero in conversation on-stage after the screening to talk about his work creating the costumes for the film.
Delgado’s outstanding career includes films such as Tom Hooper’s The Danish Girl and Les Misérables, Alejandro Iñárritu’s Biutiful, and Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile.
Having previously collaborated with Pedro Almodóvar on The Skin I Live In, Delgado reunites with the Spanish maestro for the latter’s latest release, Bitter Christmas.
Here, colours and silhouettes of actors Bárbara Lennie, Victoria Luengo, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Milena Smit, Rossy de Palma, amongst its outstanding cast, are imbued with subtle meaning, reflecting the film’s rich emotional landscape.
