Artur Silva – Artist

Spanish artist Artur Silva is holdling his debut show in London.

Held at the Lullo Pampoulides Gallery, Silva’s work looks into the circumstances that govern the circulation of people, plants, animals, and cultural artifacts.

One of the highlights of the his exhibiton is a portrait of Giovanni Belzoni attributed to Horace Vert (Paris 1789-1863. A circus performer turned archaeologist, Belzoni is responsible for the transportation of monumental objects from the Sahara Desert to the UK.
