Iberian and Latin American Week
29 Oct 2018 - 4 Nov 2018|
University of Liverpool|
The Iberian and Latin American Week is back! Once more, the University of Liverpool brings a whole set of events and activities to promote the culture, languages and imagination of the Ibero-American community.
Starting on October 29th with a welcoming event honoring the Mexican Día de los Muertos, the Iberian and Latin American Week will also include screenings, symposiums, competitions and even some dancing. Language diversity will also have significance this year: starting with a taster of Galician language and culture on the 30th and a workshop on Language and Power with Laia Darder, from the Sheffield University, the Iberian Week invites all sorts of speakers to join.
And if you are feeling creative, you can also join the Twitter Micro Story Competition. This year’s theme is NosOtros, exploring stories that reflect on multiculturalisim. Each story should include the hasthat @IBLAW18, and they can be written in Spanish, Basque, Catalan and Portuguese.
