The London Spanish Film Festival’s 16th Spring Weekend brings to London an brilliant selection of Spain’s most internationally acclaimed films,

in anticipation to the 22nd edition of the Festival in September this year.

Prof. Santiago Fouz-Hernández will be presenting his lastest book

The Films of Bigas Luna,

first study in English covering the entire filmography of one of Spain’s most influential contemporary filmmakers.

From the director’s debut feature Tattoo (1976)  to his most recent, Didi Hollywood (2010), Fouz-Hernández examines in depth each of Bigas Luna’s sixteen works.

Moderated by LSFF’s Artistic Director Joana Granero, the author wil be in conversation with Betty Bigas, daughter of the filmmaker and designer of his film My Name is Juani – screening at the festival on the 17th.
