Tomorrow, one of the fabulous grantees from the British Spanish Society´s Scholarship Programme, Roc Fargas I Castell, will be conducting De Falla ´Nights in the Garden of Spain´ and Tomasi ´Trombone Concerto´ at the Duke’s Hall.

Moreover, first year Masters conductors at the Royal Academy of Music present a programme of 20th and 21st century pieces with soloists, along with John Whitfield’s arrangement of the Brahms String Quintet in C minor. Performed by students at the Royal Academy.

The pieces that Roc is conducting are beautiful and evocative, grounded in the impressionistic language of Debussy and Ravel, but each with their own unique touch.
