Un Amor by Isabel Coixet

Every autumn, the Raindance Film Festival takes place in the British capital offering the best of independent cinema from around the world.

This year, Isabel Coixet’s new feature Un Amor will be Raindance’s Closing Gala.

And the festival includes a Catalan window of shorts, and the following features

• Isabel Coixet’s new feature, Un Amor, about a 30-year-old woman suffering from small-village hostility, is subject of a disconcerting sexual proposition. Nominated for Best Director (Coixet) and Best Performance (Laia Costa)
• La Singla, in competition for Best Documentary Feature + Q&A dir. Paloma Zapata
• The animation Tender Metalheads in for Best International Feature + Q&A dir. Joan Tomàs, Carlos Pérez-Reche, Juanjo Sáez
• Upon Entry dir. Alejandro Rojas and Juan Sebastián Vásquez, nominated for Discovery Award and Best Screenplay (Alejandro Rojas, Juan Sebastián Vásquex)
