One of the most iconic Spanish filmmakers, Víctor Erice is back with a new feature, Close Your Eyes.

Considered by many the best filmmaker in the world with only 4 features to his name, filmed across a career of more than 50 years, the BFI Southbank has organised a retrospective of all of his work.

Don’t miss this unique oportunity to watch Erice’s masterpieces on the big screen this April. The Spirit of the Beehive; El sur; The Quince Tree Sun and Close Your Eyes.

Including a special programme with his shorts, the 10 video-letter exchanged between Erice and Abbas Kiarostami, as well as an illustrated talk by curator Geoff Andrew.
