Spain: 50 Years From Dictatorship to Democracy

Instituto Cervantes London presents a series of 5 lectures to mark the 50th anniversary of the beginning of Democracy in Spain. 

A reflection on the country’s recent past and its impact on the present, these events include the screening of Ken Loach’s seminal Land and Freedom, attended by Professor Paul Preston.

As well as experts from different disciplines, in order to offer both a Spanish and a British academic perspective to this most significant historical moment in Spanish history.
