This exhibition brings together six of Bermejo’s paintings that have never been seen outside of Spain, including the triptych of the 'Madonna of Montserrat' from the cathedral at Acqui Terme, Alessandria (Italy) and the 'Piedad Desplà' from Barcelona Cathedral.
Alberto Feijóo (b.1985, Spain) draws on the materiality of the image in relation to video, sculpture, installation, book-making and design. His work maps the passage of time, memories and world events, constantly mixing genres and recontextualising the ‘biography of objects’ which surround him.
Participants will work with Dash Arts' TransNationalTheatre Director Tim Supple and dramaturg Katie Ebner-Landy to investigate material in search of the essence of a shared European identity.
The new Almodovar´s movie will be presented in Ciné Lumière Friday 23 of August.
In Almodóvar´s most personal film to date, Salvador Mallo, a film director facing ill health, takes us through his recollection of love, breakups, art, cinema, mothers, the act of writing and making a film, and importantly the experience of desire and pleasure that seem lost to him.
