The exhibition Anaqronías: a photographic interpretation of Cervantes, commissioned from Juan Cerón, comes to the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, to display an updated image of female characters that feature in El Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes.
A major exhibition exploring the non-stop nature of modern lives. Curated by Somerset House and Sarah Cook, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey from the cold light of the moon to the fading warmth of the sunset through a series of interactive installations and interrogations of 24/7 life. The exhibition is inspired by the book of the same title by art critic and essayist Jonathan Crary (Verso, 2013).
The Crypt Gallery, in collaboration with London Drawing, arranges a journey of immersive performance life drawing inspired by the Master of Baroque, Diego Velázquez. Participants will explore colour, characters and costume, as they create sumptuous sets to draw.
