One of the liveliest, virtuosic, and infectiously joyous bands on the international folk circuit has announced a return to the UK, back by popular demand.

El Pony Pisador, a 5-piece band from Barcelona, will round off  2026 with a gallop around the UK, taking in nine dates (31st October – 8th November) in a year that has seen them touring Australia, Portugal, Norway, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and their native Spain.

Taking their name from JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings inn (‘The Prancing Pony’)

El Pony Pisador offer a unique and eclectic blend, mixing folk sounds from all over the world with truly jaw-dropping musicianship.

Native Catalan songs and dances mix with Celtic and Mediterranean tunes, thrilling audiences with unexpected and brilliant dashes of yodelling, Tuvan throat singing, bluegrass, Georgian polyphony and Balkan polyrhythms.
