PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE is a monthly platform devised to share knowledge of creative practices that navigate independent and expanded forms of publishing and distribution. Through a wide variety of activities, this platform attempts to empower emerging or under-represented visual artists, musicians, poets and writers to introduce and discuss their respective outputs with new audiences.

To mark the launch of Landscape Plus, a monograph on the work of the Spanish-born, Los Angeles-based filmmaker Laida Lertxundi, PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE will present a programme of 16mm films, followed by a collective discussion between Erika Balsom, Alejandro Alonso Díaz (book editor) and Lertxundi that traverses film-theory, feminism, and subjectivity, themes prevalent within her expanded practice.
