The renowned film The Sea Inside (Mar Adentro) will be shown by RACC. The awarded the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, as well as the Best Actor award, given to one of Spain´s most well-known actors, Javier Bardem, during the Venice Film Festival.

This film is about the life of Ramon Sampedro, a Spaniard, who has been, for a long time, trying to fight to gain the right to put an end to his life and his suffering for good. His life, however, is influenced by two women, the first one is Rosa, who tries to make him realize that life is worth living, and the second one is Julia, a lawyer who is in favour of Sampedro´s cause. Both of these women help him to realize the true value and meaning of life. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Sampedro´s story and also to immerse yourself in Spanish culture and cinematography.
