The Colnaghi Foundation, in collaboration with Artes, present this illustrated lecture about the history of Spanish textile collecting at the Victoria and Albert Museum, which includes objects from the Middle ages up to the nineteenth century, ranging from ecclesiastical vestments to embroidery samplers.

The lecture will be carried by Ana Cabrera Lafuente, curator at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Madrid. Ms. Cabrera is the current Marie S. Curie Fellow, and thanks to her knowledge and research these treasures at the Victoria and Albert Museum are now beginning to come to light.
