Special Screening of Siete Dias de Enero (Seven Days in January) by Juan Antonio Bardem on 35mm CinemaAttic proudly present a special screening of J.A. Bardem’s classic anti fascist “Seven Days in January” on 35mm as part of this year’s Radical Film Network Scotland programme. With the help of ICAA and Consulado General de Edimburgo we bring back to life this touchstone political drama. A reconstruction of the tragic events of January 1977 in Madrid known as the Massacre of Atocha – an attack by right-wing extremists during the Spanish transition to democracy after the death of Franco in 1975.

The Swallow by Guillem Clua

Inspired by the attack in a gay nightclub in Orlando that saw the deaths of 50 people, The Swallow is a highly emotional work exploring how loss can simultaneously separate and unite people.
