SciTech DiploHub, the Barcelona Science and Technology Diplomacy Hub and IBEI, the leading academic and research institution on global affairs from Barcelona, have partnered to offer a first-of-its-kind, university-accredited training in Science and Technology Diplomacy in a will to train the next cohort of leaders of a field that is increasingly essential to tackle humanity’s global challenges.

Aimed at mid-career scientists and technology experts, as well as diplomats and international relations practitioners, this online edition of the Summer School offers an immersive 30+ hours of live sessions that cover the most pressing issues in Science and Technology Diplomacy ranging from sustainable development to technology diplomacy, with a special focus on Europe, the Mediterranean and the role of global cities.

This edition will take place online from the 1st to the 15th of July 2022. It will include more than 50 speakers and the participation of Carme Artigas, State Secretary for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, and Laia Bonet, Deputy Mayor of Barcelona for the 2030 Agenda, the Digital Transition and International Relations.
